Kirkendall felt energetic, lost 17 lbs and his water retention issues disappeared.

Kali Muscle said that while everyone had told him it was a bad idea to only eat pineapples, he felt great after 11 days. However, the fitness community wasn’t impressed. They bashed the influencer in the comments.

Netizens didn’t seem convinced by the purported benefits that Kali Muscle touted. “Don’t listen to Kali. You will destroy your whole metabolism, your nervous system will crash and you will feel depleted, depressed, and lost… Kali is promoting nonsense and some young uneducated kids will believe his nonsense. He promoted and sold ‘Hyphy Mud’ which was absolute poison,” wrote one fan. Another fan also pointed out what Kali Muscle did in the past. “Kali comes up with all these hacks just to get likes and money. Remember he had a heart attack because of the ste***ds,” the follower wrote.

Others called weight-loss claims into question. “If you starve yourself you’re obviously going to lose weight. This isn’t healthy bro. Stop starving yourself,” wrote one fan. One follower explained how he believed eating so much pineapple would cause harm. “All that bromelain in the pineapple will melt your insides. Pineapple is literally a meat tenderizer,” wrote the individual.
