Colombian IFBB pro bodybuilder Rubiel Mosquera has gained tremendous popularity for his uniquely huge neck, earning him the nickname, “Neckzilla”. His impressive and well-conditioned shape led him to win his Pro Card. Not just this, his ripped, huge body is equally impressive even to the ‘Sultan of Symmetry’.

The former Arnold Classic, Flex Wheeler, recently found himself intrigued by the shape of modern-era bodybuilder Rubiel Mosquera aka Neckzilla. After accurately predicting Keone Pearson’s win, Wheeler took to his social media to share another post, this time highlighting the physique and accomplishments of this new-age bodybuilder.

Mosquera became a prominent figure in bodybuilding with his exceptional body. His recent win caught the attention of a bodybuilding legend Wheeler, who himself, despite undergoing over 40 surgeries, has still maintained his jacked physique. this time around, Wheeler has taken to social media to hype up a Mosquera, the new talent he believes will take the world by storm.

Wheeler took to his Instagram account and shared a story for Mosquera with the quote, Kid looks insane”.  Mind you, Mosquera just started his bodybuilding career four years ago, in 2019. He took part in  IFBB Elite Pro South America and secured second place in the men’s bodybuilding class. He won the South American Championships in the men’s bodybuilding division later in the same year. After competing and winning many IFBB elite contests including the South America Championships, he switched to NPC.

Wheeler re-shared Mr. Olympia‘s official page’s post to his Instagram account, showcasing Mosquera’s behemoth physique. The post indicates his motives for the future, with a line that reads, “I am coming after Samson.” It seems like the EVLS Prague amateur champion has his eye on the big titles, candidly challenging the pro bodybuilders.

Mosquera challenged the Nigerian Lion to an upcoming contest

He openly challenged the Nigerian Lion, Samson Dauda who came third after Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan in Mr. Olympia 2023. Mosquera is aiming to make his pro debut at the 2023 EVLS Prague Pro. In this event, he will compete against the Bronze medalist and many other formidable athletes.

Mosquera seems pretty confident of defeating bodybuilders like Dauda, Micheal Krizo Krizanek, and Nathan De Asha, who couldn’t participate in Olympia this year due to immigration issues.
