The 8x Mr. Olympia champion experimented with various regimes to find the one that suited him best. In a recent event, he used his social media platform to share a video, where he discussed his core thoughts on his workout routine during his prime years.

Ronnie Coleman shares his ideologies about his workout in 1995

Ronnie Coleman shared a video on his Instagram account a few hours ago, with clips from his workout in the year 1995, and was seen making commentaries watching the clip. He captioned it, “1995 VHS Tapes”. He begins the video by saying, “November 8, 1995, Y’all should have been there. We were clownin’ hard on each other led by yours truly.”

The video then goes back to the throwback snippet of the king working out. He is seen prepping himself to start a set of deadlifts. in the throwback snippet, he is seen saying, “She pullin’ on that like that’s some heavy a** weight”. He further adds, “I am the king of the clowns”. Trying to denote that the workout regime is led by none other than the king himself.

In the final segment of the video, Coleman is seen giving all his effort to pull out his max-weighing deadlift for the last set. He says, “Watch how easy it’s gonna be.” Humorously enough Coleman’s expression while carrying out the lift was enough to stay how difficult it had been for him. He has even shared some footage of his leg workout giving his reaction to it.

Coleman’s reaction to his old-school leg workout

Coleman shared the full part of the video on his official YouTube channel. He begins the video by saying, “Welcome to my reaction video. This time, old school footage.” In the video, the bodybuilding legend Haney is seen doing his leg workout. Then he fast forwards the video showing Vicky Gates working out on the same machine.

 He says, “She is a true champion, the best workout partner I have ever ever ever had.” Both of them are seen pulling out sets in the conventional leg press machine.
