His muscular physique and symmetrical shape got him noticed by CBS, and he was thus offered the role of ‘The Incredible Hulk’. Today, at 71, after a glorious career in bodybuilding followed by that in the entertainment industry, Ferrigno looks at his life with the fondest of memories. In fact, reminiscing about one such instance from his heydays, Ferrigno shared a throwback picture of his ripped physique from the 1990s.

Lou Ferrigno shared a picture of himself when he was 42 on Instagram. And when his fans got hold of his image, they were all singing praises of his strong and ripped physique. He captioned the photo, “42 years old here and more motived than ever in this shot,” with a muscular right arm emoji alongside it, reflecting on the determination that helped him secure two Mr. Universe titles in the 1970s and sustain his impressive form into the 1990s.

He continued, “I believe age should have more to do with where you’re going than where you have been!” Now that he is in his 70s, Ferrigno’s wisdom-filled perspective on life is something that most recent bodybuilders can take heart from.
