Sheryl Grant is a phenomenal bodybuilder who won her first Olympia title when she was 55 years old. Now she’s been preparing for 2023 Mr. Olympia. She recently shared a reel video on her Instagram, and her dance moves were unbelievable. People were stunned to know her age. Regardless of her age, she isn’t way younger than anybody. It was a shock to know that she is in her 60s and spreading positivity and making people believe that age is just a number.

Leaving a career to pursue her passion for bodybuilding

Her grandfather’s wisdom, who used to say, “You either die young or you get old,” inspired Grant. She changed her life with this incredible mindset. However, making a life-changing decision in her mid-50s was not an easy task for anybody.

“At 55, I made one of the scariest decisions of my life: to leave my 30-year career to pursue my dream of inspiring and empowering individuals around the globe. People told me I was silly or that what I dreamt of wasn’t possible,” explained Ms. Olympia. In this short clip, she was wearing a black turtleneck sweatshirt with leather trousers. Showing off every angle of her physique with a constant grin on a Jay-Z song.

Sheryl Grant’s Bodybuilding Journey and AgeTech Advocacy

In one of her IG posts, she revealed her secret, and wrote, “My secret to more effective workouts is a STRONG CORE! A strong core allows me to do more exercises and maintain the form to maximize each movement’s effectiveness.” She not only emphasized on physical strength but also on mental prowess. She said, “Being FIT is more than physical. It also requires a mental strength and forms the foundation for transformation.

She wrote in her latest IG post, “Now I’m in New York exploring, meeting new people, and speaking to women from across the country about how they can follow their dreams as well!” The Author of FIT for Life said that bodybuilding not only transformed her physique but helped her transform her mind, too. She could feel the changes within her. With her new perspective, she helped others who were struggling.
