However, The Mountain has shown remarkable resilience and determination as he announced his journey on the road to recovery.

The past few weeks have gone really tough for the mountain as he went through multiple health issues. However, the Strongman giant has made headlines as he returned to his favorite place.

Hafthor Bjornsson is back in a routine!

The Game of Thrones Fame recently took to Instagram to share his progress and show his unwavering spirit. In a reel of his intense workout, the Mountain displayed his incredible strength and resilience as he performed bench presses. The video shows him increasing his weight with every set while maintaining a perfect form with a full range of motion. His unwavering determination, showcased in the video, leaves no doubt that he is ready to roll again.

Being away from the gym must have been a particularly challenging experience for someone like Bjornsson, who has dedicated his life to strength training and competing as a professional strongman. And after recovering from his recent surgery, Hafthor Bjornsson wasted no time in getting back to what he loves most: lifting heavy weights. And the popular Strongman mentioned it in the caption of his Instagram post.

“Miss the feeling of moving these weights but I’m feeling relaxed and happy to take on the challenge ahead. I’m 4 weeks post-surgery and every day is better. 2 more weeks and I can get rid of the sling.”, he wrote. Despite the strain of recovery, Bjornsson’s attitude remains positive as he revealed that four weeks after his surgery, he continues to improve every day.

Bjornsson’s tough journey to Recovery

Bjornsson’s journey to recovery has been filled with challenges. While he was pushing his limits during a heavy bench press session, he suffered a Pec tear. Unfortunately, things got worse after the surgery as he contracted an infection, which resulted in the development of an abscess.

He wrote in the post, “Wednesday I’m 4 weeks post-surgery. Sadly I got an infection 5 days ago resulting in an abscess and had to have a drainage tube inserted.” While his recovery journey is not yet complete, Hafthor is eagerly looking forward to the day when he can finally discard the sling that has been a constant reminder of his injury. He shared his anticipation that in just two more weeks, he will bid farewell to the sling that supports his pec muscle.
