The legendary bodybuilder Derek Lunsford etched his name as a supreme force to be reckoned upon after winning the most prestigious title in the realm of bodybuilding this year. He defeated Hadi Choopan and was crowned fair and square. Although Choopan did not take the defeat very well on the stage, he apologized later on.
However, the champ received several threats for defeating Choopan on a video that he had uploaded announcing his victory. Several threats have been made to his family and his safety, and well he finally came up with a comeback for his followers on his recent live video on Instagram.

Derek Lunsford replies to the threats received
Derek Lunsford took to his official Instagram account, @dereklunsford, and hosted an Instagram live while performing cardio on the Treadmill. In the video, he allowed his followers to ask him questions about his victory and his plans. As the video gradually progressed, Lunsford went towards giving a solid answer to all the threats that he had been receiving from his followers.
He spoke about how fans are a very important part of the process of their growth in the sphere, and how, they only wish to do their best as their role models. However, it is very important to know when the line crosses. Lunsford said, “When it comes to harming me and my family, that’s when it becomes a very serious problem.”
In the video, one of his followers, referring to the poor behavior of Hadi Choopan on being defeated by Lunsford, asked him about what he felt about the sportsmanship of the other athletes, and he very gracefully replied to it.
