Years later, as his son Joseph Baena has grown into a bodybuilder and actor himself, fans have remarked at the facial similarity between them and asked him to reprise the role of T-800. Baena is more than interested.

One fan however was quick to remind him, that he would do great in the role of the Terminator. He also asked him, in a witty manner, when is he actually doing it. He wrote, “You’re killing it, brother .. when are we getting Terminator reboot from you…” The fan also pointed out how he looks exactly like his dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Baena replied to him, “Someone make a petition and send it to the studios lol”. The 25-year-old fitness model was at his humorous best during his chat with his fan. However, he has seriously expressed a desire to play the role of the android mutant.

“Can’t Rush”: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Look-Alike Son Breaks Silence on Desire to Play Terminator

In a recent chat with Inside Fighting, Baena said that he is working hard to build a superhero physique, and would love to play the role of Terminator in one of its sequels. Baena said that he is training hard to be a lead actor in a movie.

Joseph Baena’s rising career

Joseph Baena’s career in Hollywood has already started off on a good note, with multiple offers coming his way. After playing small roles in movies like Chariot, Bully High, Encounters, Lava, etc, Baena is currently filming Gunner and Athena Saves Christmas. Interestingly, his first-ever project was a short film, a remake of Terminator 2, his father’s blockbuster sequel to the original 1984 film. The actor, who also participated in Dancing With the Stars Season 31, seems to have his career rising upwards and onwards.

The Terminator franchise has spawned multiple films to date and earned hundreds of millions in revenue. The latest one in the series is Terminator: Dark Fate (2019). But whether the studio StudioCanal (Vivendi) and James Cameron go for another film, and if so, are they going to cast Joseph Baena in it? Only time will tell.
