Stephane made waves last year when he qualified for the 2023 Mr. Olympia. However, a sudden family emergency prevented him from competing in the prestigious event. Nick Strength and Power shared a video on their YouTube channel showcasing Matala’s casual posing routine, highlighting his incredible physique. Nick also provided commentary on Matala’s progress in the video.

Noting the striking similarities in physique and posing style between him and Ramon Dino, Nick highlighted the potential he sees in Stephane for the upcoming 2024 season. “I really do see it and I think this guy has some real potential for the 2024 season,” stated Nick. What’s truly captivating about Stephane’s journey is how he has evolved over time. According to Nick, initially, the comparison to Ramon Dino wasn’t as apparent when the French bodybuilder had a smaller frame.

Earlier, the YouTuber expressed his concerns, “I don’t want to see him become the next classic physique guy that gets all this attention on social media and then never really delivers.” Additionally, Nick believes that Matala looks like “the next big thing in classic physique, but it feels like we don’t get to see him compete very often at all.” However, with his dedication and hard work, he has transformed into a formidable competitor with a physique reminiscent of a bodybuilding icon. Seeing Matala’s impressive physique, netizens couldn’t resist expressing their admiration for the athlete.

Fans think Matala’s physique resembles that of the character ‘Baki’

People were amazed by Matala’s arm muscles, “His arms look like cement blocks!! Incredible!!”  said one fan. Some not only compared Matala to Ramon Dino but also thought his appearance resembled Baki, an anime character known for its exaggerated and muscular physique. One such comment read, “He looks like a Baki Character.”

Many individuals are impressed with the high quality and definition of his muscles, with one even saying, “Woah, the muscle quality is insane!” On the other hand, despite being impressed by his physique a few suggested, “Gotta keep that gut in check if he wants to clash with Ramon.” After seeing the sheer size, one bodybuilding enthusiast wrote, “He looks more like an open competitor IMO.” One user brought in another bodybuilder comparison. “His physique is very similar to ‘Sergio Olivas’,” they wrote.
