Bodybuilding influencer Chuck ‘Kali Muscle’ Kirkendall suffered a heart attack in 2021. After the incident, the bodybuilder came clean about his ste*** d use. Since then, he has been promoting clean eating and exercise but has also villainized supplements like whey protein alongside PEDs. He even did so in his latest video.

Kali Muscle uploaded a video of himself doing cable lat pullovers. However, Kirkendall kept denouncing ste***ds and supplements after completing each rep. While some have become fans of the reformed, previously enhanced bodybuilder, many found his antics in the video hypocritical.

“No tren, no testosterone, no anadrol, no dbol…” Kali Muscle said in the video. However, he even said no to some of the most tested and used supplements, like “protein powder… creatin powder…” and even “electrolytes.” Kirkendall also denounced meat, fish, bread, caffeine, and salt, among other food items.

While Chuck Kirkendall is protesting against supplements, ironically, he ran his supplement company and offered protein powder, pre-workout, test boosters, and more. The Hyphy Mud 2.0 Extreme Pre-Workout is still up for sale on the Tiger Fitness online store. However, Kali Muscle did promise to revamp his supplements.

Seven months ago, the fitness influencer announced he would “get rid of” most of his old supplements. Kirkendall said he would reconstruct his company to manufacture cleaner, caffeine-free supplements. Since then, the official Hyphy Life online store has been shut. Despite his efforts, fans aren’t aligned with the bodybuilder’s stance.

Fans poked fun at Kali Muscle by mimicking him

The irony of Kali Muscle’s words didn’t escape bodybuilding fans. While they agreed that ste***ds are a severe health risk, they didn’t agree with the rest of Kirkendall’s take. “No good content anymore,” wrote one fan. Since Klai Muscle kept saying no to everything in the video, most fan comments started with ‘no.’

“No size or strength,” wrote one fan after watching Kali Muscle doing cable lat pullovers. Another fan pointed out how Kirkendall keeps losing muscle. “No gains,” commented the fan. Another fan reminded the bodybuilder that he used to promote everything he said no to in the video before the heart attack.

“Dammmm! You were on everything,” wrote the fan. Another follower asked Kali Muscle a genuine question. “What’s wrong with electrolytes?” questioned the fan since electrolytes are not supplements. However, the formerly enhanced bodybuilder didn’t respond to the criticism.

While fans might not agree with Chuck Kirkendall, the bodybuilder remains undeterred in his mission. It’s safe to say Kali Muscle will continue to protest against all supplements despite the criticism coming his way.
