In the same light, American actress Lili Reinhart, the Riverdale star, has been promoting body positivity and constantly motivates her followers to accept their bodies just the way it is.

She reinforces that focusing on your mental health must be the priority, not looking perfect. However, the actor, known for maintaining a rigorously healthy lifestyle, shared a saddening fitness and health concern, which gave voices to millions of people going through the same.

Lili Reinhart opens up about her health scares

The Netflix fame actress took to her official X handle and confessed how difficult it is for her to go through the diseases that she has acquired. She wrote, “I truly wonder how anyone survives or gets through this life without having severe BD. Maybe it’s a cruel amplified version in combination with my OCD, but da*n.”

She has been suffering from severe Body dysmorphia with strokes of Obsessive-compulsive disorder, two tremendously difficult battles for someone to be fighting simultaneously. She feels insecure about her arms and wrote, “The amount of time I’ve wasted thinking about my arms in the last few months is insane.”

Fans resonated with Reinhart’s confession  

The X community got emotional reading Lili Reinhart’s Twitter post on her suffering. A follower supported her by writing, “You’re so real for this, ily”. The update gave them the confidence to talk about themselves too, and it is evident from comments like, “omg I needed this so bad thank you Lili 😭 I generally love my body EXCEPT for my arms, I think they’re average size, but then I freak out when I see girls online with such teeny arms! & that’s no hate against them at all, but it def is hard sometimes not to compare” and “I feel the same about waist sizes most adult women do not have a tiny waist like a Barbie doll.”

A follower, adding to her context and why it is important to promote body positivity, commented, “I love you so much Lili and I definitely bring it up a lot but it’s not just because you are pretty or a good actress but because of this because you are always yourself and are not afraid to bring up stuff like this, I love you because you are imperfect…” One of her fans felt thankful for the update and wrote, “thank you from one ocd queen to another.”
