“Today, I want to talk about planning. In more than 50 years of my fitness crusade, I cannot count how many times I’ve heard people say they are planning on starting to train or planning on starting a diet,“ said Arnie. Cutting to the chase Schwarzenegger shed light on every excuse a person makes when they knowingly procrastinate.
“It is always a plan to start on Monday, or the first of the month, or next year. It is never a plan to start now,“ said Schwarzenegger. The Austrian Oak’s harsh words hit a fan hard. “Oooff! I didn’t need to be personally attacked by Arnold today, but here we are…“ the fan wrote. However, he took the ‘tough love‘ well. “JK (just kidding),“ the fan added at the end.

However, Arnold Schwarzenegger may have hit the bullseye because the man’s comment got many reactions, indicating how many people could relate to him. While the seven-time Mr. Olympia is about spreading positivity, this time, he aims to motivate through the harsh truth. He said those who are “walls planning have good intentions,“ but should be “honest,“ about it.
“Planning means you’re not taking action. You’re choosing to avoid getting started,“ wrote Arnold Schwarzenegger at the end of his message. Maybe the five-time Mr. Universe didn’t sugarcoat the truth because he already knows there are enough distractions hampering people’s goals.
