While programming diets for other clients, Amy Rosoff Davis also aims to make things enjoyable. “Eating to nourish… not punish,” is the trainer’s motto. “Don’t make a salad with just lemon… Make it yummy, add a bunch of olive oil and salt,” said the trainer.

Davis explained that besides loving the process one has to keep their fitness goals realistic. If some are already active, then she often starts them off with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). However, if someone is less active, their first day in the gym under Davis looks quite different.
The routine must be sustainable, for those looking to make a difference in their lives through fitness. Davis supports and encourages those who find it hard to stick to a routine. Those looking to start their fitness journey in 2024 might take Arnold Schwarzenegger’s advice of finding a gym partner for the days when they feel unmotivated.
