However, the highlight of their meeting came during their flight. Bumstead didn’t miss the chance to poke fun at Laid. He posted an Instagram story with the caption, “When you get stuck beside a weirdo,” capturing Laid using his Vision Pro headset. The Vision Pro, known for its immersive virtual reality experience, seemed to amuse Bumstead as he watched his friend do strange hand gestures while seated next to him in a plane.

Despite the teasing, Bumstead showed genuine interest in the Vision Pro. He expressed his disappointment that he wouldn’t be able to get the device in time for his trip. “I’m pretty sad about that,” he said, “but I’m gonna become a f***ing nerd living in my Vision Pro virtual reality, dropping it and just sliding there on my couch watching Vision Pro.”

The Canadian bodybuilder’s humor and Laid’s enthusiasm for the latest tech gadgets made for a fun and engaging trip. Well, it’s not the first time CBum mocked him. During their workout session too, he teased Laid.

Chris Bumstead makes fun of David Laid’s form

Earlier, the 29-year-old bodybuilding icon posted a workout video with David Laid on his YouTube channel. They began their session with light warmup sets before moving on to heavy weights, starting with a chest workout. After resting for a while, they started a new workout.

Bumstead kicked off with lat pulldowns and, after finishing his set, playfully judged Laid’s form. Laid humorously responded, “Turn around; can I have some privacy with my stack?” Bumstead teased him further, asking, “Why are you so small?” He then added, “How are you going to make any progress if you’re not taking anything close to failure?” Bumstead’s reunion with Laid was filled with laughter and shared experiences.
