Veteran actor, Rob Lowe, is the Godfather of the Austrian Oak Arnold Schwarzenegger’s eldest daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger. While he wasn’t the chosen one, Lowe once revealed he got the tag by default as his wife Sheryl Berkoff is Kat’s godmother. While the actor is a doting father and Godfather, he has had his fair share of struggles in his personal life. A few decades ago, Lowe started his battle against addiction. Now, in 2023, Lowe stands sober for over three decades.

The Unstable actor took to his social media to celebrate 33 years of his sobriety. Many friends, fans, and colleagues took to the comments to praise Lowe for his consistent efforts. Among his thousands of well-wishers was Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Earlier today, 59-year-old Rob Lowe shared a selfie on his Instagram. In the caption of the post, Lowe explained that 11th May marked the 33rd anniversary of his recovery. The West Wing actor wrote, “33 years ago today I found recovery and a tribe that has sustained me on my incredible, grateful journey. My life is full of love, family, God, opportunity, friends, work, dogs and fun.”

Lowe further added, “If you or someone you know is struggling with any form of addiction: hope and joy are waiting if you want it, and are willing to work for it!” Spellbound by Lowe’s message, Katherine Schwarzenegger took to the comments. Giving the perfect one-word praise to encapsulate her emotions, Kat commented, “Bravo 🙌.”
