Since he entered the competitive field, he has often faced health issues. However, none of these concerns were directly linked to his rigorous bodybuilding endeavors.

Even during his preparation for this year’s competition, Bumstead encountered injuries and underlying health issues. Many suspected that he would retire, but he confidently continued and clinched his fifth Sandow trophy. Recently, in an interview with Vincent Oshana on Valuetainment, CBum shared his future goals related to bodybuilding and Mr. Olympia. Despite being at the peak of physical excellence, the champ unveiled a plan that might surprise many.

Chris Bumstead’s plan for the Olympia

In the video, the host, Oshana, asked CBum about his plans related to bodybuilding and competitions. In response to this Bumstead confessed his plans concerning his health. “I would love to keep going because I know I could keep getting better and do this for 10 Olympias or so, it’s not my dream,” the bodybuilder revealed. Bumstead’s statement emphasizes the fact that he is not sure about how long he sees himself doing this.

In addition, during his 2017 incident, he lacked the confidence to compete again, and this realization made him start focusing more on his health. He emphasized that the health scare, fortunately, was unrelated to bodybuilding and traced back to a condition he had since birth.
