One of the most unique things about r/bodybuilding is that it’s full of members who are competitive bodybuilders. These bodybuilders often share their progress and updates to get the opinion of other members. Even legendary bodybuilders like Arnold Schwarzenegger use the page regularly.

Recently Reddit user u/thebigghee posted on the 2.9 million-strong Reddit community. The user has been a member of r/bodybuiling for at least seven years. He has also shared snippets of progress on the platform. However, the Classic Physique competitor’s most recent post garnered a lot of attention and praise from community members.

Showcasing 10 years of gains

Yesterday, a Reddit user posted a collage on the bodybuilding page. In the collage, u/thebigghee used the first picture he posted in r/bodybuilding in 2013. However, the other image was from his recent competition. “I competed in my first show in September 2013 at a whopping 178 lbs,” he wrote in the post’s caption addressing the image on the left.

In a span of 10 years, the Classic Physique competitor has put on an impressive amount of muscle. I just competed in the NPC Knox Classic last week and weighed in at 230 lbs the morning of the show,” revealed the bodybuilder. “Am I washed up yet?” he jokingly asked the community members while posting the collage.

However, the gains and the improvements u/thebigghee has made were apparent. Besides gaining more muscle overall, the bodybuilder had significantly improved body parts like the legs, calves, triceps, etc. Netizens couldn’t help but praise the man.

The bodybuilding community showered praises on the classic physique athlete

Most people lauded the Classic Physique competitor for his consistency. “That’s called love for the game. You made great improvements, and now you can look back at how far you’ve come,” wrote one user“This is some awesome natty progress. 10/10 great work and consistency!” wrote another Redditor.

However, some had a few questions about the bodybuilder’s height. “It’s incredible how lean you are 230 lbs. Wow. Congrats on the journey and accomplishments. How tall are you?” asked one user. The competitive bodybuilder said he stands 6’2 Ft tall. However, another user raised a different question. “Isn’t Cbum 6’1” 230-ish on stage? Obviously, I realize you aren’t that level of lean but are you like 6’7 or something because you don’t look 230 lol no hate you have a nice physique,” they wrote. However, u/thebigghee assured the user that he was indeed 6’2 Ft.
