Not only did Cutler win the Sandow Trophy four times, but he also proved his mettle by making a comeback at the stage that had written him off earlier. Although the Quad Stomper retired from the bodybuilding arena, he has not lost his connection with the sport. In fact, he has found newer methods of interaction with his fans. Cutler has reinvented himself as an entrepreneur and fitness influencer. Recently, he revisited the past by going to the “mecca of bodybuilding.”

Earlier, Jay Cutler posted a YouTube video showcasing his journey to Gold’s Gym in Venice. His trip jogged some fond memories of the venerated grounds. The celebrated strength athlete revealed the sentimentality attached to his alma mater of bodybuilding.

The Comeback Kid appeared on JayCutler TV with his friend Manager Matt and friend Dave. Together, they went to the famous Gold’s Gym in California over the weekend for an intense back session. The gym is going through renovation, but its impact remains the same. While the Quad Stomper was firing up his back through strength training, his friend Dave asked, “Milos has been posting a lot of old pictures of you competing.” He further says, “You and Ronnie.” To this, the CEO of Cutler Nutrition says, “Yeah, a lot of throwback pictures, a lot of memories. I know a lot of memories here, dude, like, Oh, 09, ‘010,” amidst the clunking of workout machines.

The years 2009 and 2010 remain memorable for Cutler because they marked the renaissance of the mass monster. In 2008, Cutler lost to Dexter Jackson. However, in 2009, the hulk-like bodybuilder presented his best self yet and did the famous Quad-Stomping pose that is now etched in the history of bodybuilding.
