In a YouTube short shared by OOFA Fitness, they shared an old clip of Tom Platz talking about the st*ro*ds use in the world of bodybuilding, he also revealed, “I always wondered why Arnold liked Dianabol.” Platz recalled a conversation they had at Mr. Olympia where Arnie shared his rationale, stating, “This Dianabol is like androgenic as well as androgenic.” This dual nature made it suitable for his specific needs.

Tom Platz’s revelation on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s st*ro*d intakes

According to his appearance, standing tall at six foot five, Schwarzenegger needed more than just muscle growth; he required “sarcoplasm enhancement,” said Platz. Dianabol, despite its reputation for causing water retention, provided the unique combination of androgenic and anabolic properties necessary for Arnie’s tall stature.

Plats further explained, “What I mean by sarcoplasm, is the liquid, the putty-like stuff that muscle bathes in.” For someone with a towering physique like the Terminator, enhancing sarcoplasm became essential. Dianabol offered precisely that – a boost in sarcoplasmic fluid while promoting muscle growth.  Platz’s insights delved deeper into the nuances of bodybuilding chemistry, highlighting the contrast between the Austrian Oak’s preference and eight-time Mr. Olympia Lee Haney’s. Haney’s physique leaned more towards sarcoplasmic dominance, requiring a different approach to supplementation.

Platz remarked about Haney, “I think he has too much sarcoplasm.” The analogy drawn between himself and Haney emphasizes the importance of tailored st*ro*d regimens. What works for one bodybuilder may not yield the same results for another, and too much emphasis on sarcoplasm, as Platz suggests, can lead to an undesirable outcome.

The former Mr. Olympia doesn’t just hype up creatine for muscles; he claims it boosts intelligence and fights brain diseases. But here’s the scoop: go for creatine monohydrate. It’s the top pick – safe, effective, and easily absorbed. Forget the others; they’re just wannabes. Concerns about bloating? He says it’s a myth. Creatine weight gain means healthy, hydrated muscles, not fluff. Don’t fall for fancy solubility claims; monohydrate reigns supreme.
