Champions such as Chris Bumstead, Phil Heath, and Cutler’s contemporary, Victor Martinez, have spoken about the steroids. None of them had good things to say about Tren. Jay Cutler also echoed the sentiments of his fellow bodybuilders. However, surprisingly, Cutler confessed to using it during his pro bodybuilding career.

Jay Cutler approached the drug with caution
In competitive bodybuilding, moderation separates those who use PEDs as an advantage instead of a crutch. However, Cutler said most people who prefer using Tren use too much of the drug. However, it’s not a wise choice. “Trenbolone is a scary thing… it makes you aggressive,” said the retired champion, who is still shredded at 50.

“So for me, I didn’t really f**k with Tren much,” Cutler further explained. The 50-year-old said many people who use the drug equate it with unadulterated testosterone. However, “it’s not the same.” While the four-time champion confessed to suing Tren, he used less than people who prefer using it over other drugs. However, Cutler revealed the problems of relying on the drug.

Cutler said Tren turns its users aggressive and mean but also helps them get “ripped.” It’s this double-edged sword that’s contributed to its popularity, as many deem the side effects worthy of the gains. However, Cutler only used a light dose and told others to do the same. While the boost was minimal, he didn’t suffer the effects.
