UFC president Dana White is worth $500 million today. However, that wasn’t always the case. The Connecticut native came from humble beginnings and was a boxing coach before becoming associated with the UFC. Similarly, Serbian bodybuilding icon Milos Sarcev came to America with only 428 dollars before competing against the finest bodybuilders on stage. Maybe that’s why the renowned bodybuilding coach respects and admires the UFC president.

Earlier, the 1989 Mr. Universe winner uploaded an image on Instagram where he was talking to Dana White and UFC matchmaker Hunter Campbell. It was evident from the caption that for the 2023 Arnold Classic-winning coach, a dream came true.

In the image the 59-year-old uploaded, he, Dana White, and Hunter Campbell were in the middle of a conversation. Besides bodybuilding, Sarcev enjoys combat sports and attended UFC 288 on May 6 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. White is always present during major UFC cards involving title fights. Hence, it was the perfect opportunity for The Mind to meet White.

While the former Mr. Universe didn’t mention when he caught up with White and Campbell, the image shows them conversing octagon side. Meeting with the UFC president meant a lot to Sarcev, as evidenced by his caption. “THE luckiest man alive. Thank you Hunter, Dana and the UFC,” Sarcev wrote.

In fact, one might say Milos Sarcev crossed a task off his bucket list because he added, “If I die tomorrow – I’ll die a happy man.” UFC 288 was a big night for combat sports fans like Sarcev as Henry Cejudo, made his long-anticipated return to the octagon. While his opponent and defending Aljamian Sterling picked up the win, they treated fans to a hard-fought contest. However, this isn’t the first time the legendary bodybuilding coach has praised Dana White.

The former Mr. Universe defended White’s latest project

Dana White played a massive role in pulling MMA from the underground and turning it into one of the fastest-growing mainstream sports on the planet. Now he is trying to do something similar with Power Slap. On a recent episode of The Menace Podcast, Milos Sarcev, Dennis James, Chris Cormier, and Bob Cicherillo discussed the highly polarizing sport.

When James said Power Slap was “the dumbest thing ever,” Sarcev defended White’s latest project. “You know, Dana White and Hunter Campbell, they don’t do anything just because… You know, they calculated everything…” said The Mind. However, despite White’s efforts it seemed the mainstream public response to Power Slap has been less than favorable.

While Dana White and Milos Sarcev belong to two different sports, Sarcev has great respect for what White has achieved. It would be safe to say the UFC president feels the same toward the former Mr. Universe.
