Hence, the UFC host started a separate series featuring guests from the mixed martial arts world. On episode #139 of the JRE MMA Show, UFC legend Bas Rutten appeared as a guest. While Rogan has gathered tremendous knowledge about talking to various personalities, Rutten surprised Rogan with the story of the 20th-century strongman from Poland.

While talking about humans with extraordinary abilities, Rutten asked Rogan if he had heard of Joe Greenstein. However, the UFC commentator had no clue who Greenstein was. “Hallelujah,” said the mixed martial artist, excited to see the 55-year-old’s reaction after learning more about The Mighty Atom.

After learning that the Taekwondo practitioner didn’t know about Greenstein instructed him to google the strongman’s name. He said people often took Greenstein lightly because he weighed 130 lbs. Today 125 lbs is the lightest weight class for men in the UFC. Modern strongman athletes like Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw weighed closer to 400 lbs. In fact, Eddie Hall, who is doing a bodybuilding transformation, weighed over 400 lbs. However, size didn’t matter because The Mighty Atom could bite through industrial nails.

Rogan, who looked stupefied, found some articles and began reading out loud. “Started wrestling, left Poland for the United States… bit through nails, broke chains, and held down an airplane with his hair. What?” said Rogan. he also read about what happened to those who ganged up on him. “Assaulted by six men, sent them all to the hospital. Single handedly beat up 20 Nazi sympathizers, wow!” exclaimed the host.

However, as the dentist examined his teeth, he bit through one of the tools. “What are you going to do against a guy like this?” asked the UFC veteran, drawing a laugh from Rogan before ending the segment.
