Bodybuilding is more than just lifting weights and sticking to strict diets. It’s about facing self-doubt, dealing with body image issues, and staying mentally strong. “The Blond Myth,” an Australian bodybuilder, rocked the scene for over two decades, competing in big events like the Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia. Even after retiring, he’s still a big name in the bodybuilding world and still has tips for those who want to hear them.

Lee Priest talks about hamstring exercise

Lee Priest recently shared a video on his Instagram, giving advice about working on the hamstrings. He pointed out that when doing hamstring exercises, one doesn’t need to use a lot of weight. Some people make the mistake of using heavy weights, which can lead to injuries. Lee emphasized that it’s essential to focus on feeling the tension in your hamstrings.

He also talked about different variations of hamstring exercises, mentioning that some people only go halfway or use props like boxes or benches. Lee suggested that if one is going to use a bench or box, one should make the most of it by stretching as far as one can. He said, “Some people stand on a box, or say they’re standing on this row, so they get up really high.”

Otherwise, there’s no point in using these props. Overall, Lee Priest’s message is about doing hamstring exercises safely, with proper form, and making the most of your workout without risking injuries.

Lee Priest shares some fitness advice

Priest also talked about how some young bodybuilders who want to build muscles resort to using drugs when they don’t see the results they want. He shared a story about a friend who asked for steroids but wasn’t taking care of himself. Priest gave him the steroids but also gave him a healthy eating plan and a proper workout routine.

Even though he actually gave his friend fake pills (just sugar), the guy thought they were real and started seeing results. This goes to show that sometimes, what you really need is discipline and hard work, not just relaince on drugs.
