Often, a gym requires a membership for the customers so that they can take all the benefits of it. With a gym membership, one can regularly go to the gym and expect improved fitness levels, consistency, discipline, and guidance. Finding the right bodybuilding group is also an added advantage. Fitness Influencer Will Tennyson gives his viewers a peak at one of the most expensive gyms in the world through his YouTube video.

Exos in Phoenix, Arizona, is one such gym. Tennyson is apprehensive of the gym at first, wondering if it justifies the membership fees. Gym membership fees might burn a hole in some pockets. Will Tennyson spent a day training at the Exos facility and shared his views. The imposing building looks huge. “It does not look like a gym. It kinda looks like a bio-med lab…” said Tennyson to his viewers. “I wonder if I will run into Jeff Bezos,” added Tennyson. The athlete coordinator takes Tennyson on a tour of the gym.

He mentions that many A-listers are reeling under pressure to perform, trying to stay away from the media, hence, they prefer their meals inside the campus. They have registered dieticians and chefs for the athletes. Athletes’ meals are designed keeping in mind their body composition. The Fuel bar is an interesting place at Exos that provides post work out supplements to the athletes.

Unlike an open gym, a performance specialist oversees every workout at Exos. The gym houses 22 squat racks closely placed together. Will Tennyson is not too impressed with some machines! He said, “If I am paying thirty grand, I want machines that are built in NASA’s lab”. The gym also has a physical therapy area. The fitness influencer feels that with so much going on in this facility, an athlete can spend long hours at Exos. To this Zev, the coordinator, added, “We have guys that come in at eight o’clock in the morning and leave at 5 pm”. However, many renowned athletes, like Saquon Barkley, train at this gym, and Tennyson was surprised to know that.

Will Tennyson next meets up with Nick, the Pro Elite Performance Specialist. Nick reveals that “This facility alone had seven first rounds”. Tennyson did some research and put a note on his YouTube that “Nearly 40% of NFL’s rookie draft class in 2022 trained at Exos”. Will gets a hang of what Nick means when he breaks a sweat with him. For athletes, it is not just about machines but speed, agility, flexibility, and strength. Exos emphasizes functional training.

The West Coast Exos gym is home to every imaginable facility an athlete needs. It offers a cold pool, lounges, batting cages, physical therapy, and massage services. It has special training packages for NFL drafts combining a 360-degree approach. If the aim is to become an elite athlete, then owning this gym membership maybe not be such a bad idea.
