MCU’s Thor, Chris Hemsworth’s brother Liam Hemsworth recently made headlines after taking on the lead role in Netflix’s The Witcher. The announcement caused quite a stir among fans of the show as Hemsworth replaced the much-loved Henry Cavill in the role. However, the 33-year-old actor and fitness enthusiast has been silently preparing to play Geralt of Rivia.

In his latest post on Instagram, the actor posted a bunch of photos from his visit to Abu Dhabi. Hemsworth stepped on the dunes of Abu Dhabi barefoot, while wearing a khaki-colored t-shirt, black shorts, and a cap. However, in one of the images, the actor flexed his biceps, which made fans demand he lose the khaki shirt for a sneak peek of his Witcher physique.

Liam Hemsworth is back in the limelight

Liam Hemsworth has taken some time off from Hollywood after his tumultuous divorce with Miley Cyrus in 2020. The actor has starred in only one film in the last three years, Poker Face in 2022. The surfing aficionado also reduced his social media presence. In his latest post, the 33-year-old actor wrote about finding the “Perfect spot to throw a couple shapes,” in the desert.

The actor hit a bunch of poses, including one of pop icon Michael Jackson’s. However, his variation of the front-double biceps pose caught the fans’ attention. While the Hunger Games star has always been into fitness like his bother Chris Hemsworth, it seems the actor is bulking up to play his latest role. Henry Cavill, his predecessor, was passionate about the role and played it with conviction.

One fan spoke the thoughts of many others and wrote, “We deserve a shirtless pic now!!!” Another fan concluded that Hemsworth is using his older brother’s fitness app to prepare for the Netflix show. “He’s clearly been using Chris’s CentrFit app to get ready for his role as the Witcher.
