Despite being 52, Hollywood action star Mark Wahlberg has maintained his ripped physique. Wahlberg showed off his shredded physique in a reel he posted on Instagram. However, The Family Plan star didn’t go shirtless inside what seemed like a hotel for no reason. The bodybuilding enthusiast didn’t want to miss his daily cold plunge.

How cold plunges have helped Mark Wahlberg

In the video, Mark Walberg took off his shirt and said he couldn’t miss his cold plunge no matter what. The camera then followed him into the bathroom, where another man was pouring buckets of ice inside the bathtub. The Ted actor joined the man. He still had five more buckets when the video ended. Interestingly this isn’t the first time he has done this. Yet why does Marky Mark love cold plunges so much?

Wahlberg is no longer a young man despite sporting washboard abs and rippling muscles. At 52, the actor has transformed the way he trains in the gym. Instead of having big lifts, the Transformers 4 actor now chases longevity. Since cold plunges have helped him recover from daily workouts and manage injuries and pain, the 52-year-old finds them indispensable. However, while Mark Wahlberg may be ready to go to any length for his ice bath, the fans have mixed reactions.
