Arnold Schwarzenegger has been an imposing presence on the silver screen, thanks to his intimidating physique. Take Conan the Barbarian, for example; the 1982 poster of the movie is proof of his larger-than-life character. And yet, on the sets of the movie, back then, there was someone who made Arnold’s size look like that of a child.

Arnie felt rather dwarfed while hanging out with this co-actor. This was none other than his Conan The Barbarian co-star and WWE Hall of Famer Andre The Giant, who towered over the former Mr. Olympia. What followed was a rather funny and astounding tale of Big vs Bigger!

In a resurfaced picture from The Rich Eisen Show, Arnold Schwarzenegger shared stories about his co-star Andre the Giant. He went on to narrate about how once when he was filming in Mexico, Andre was also wrestling nearby. So, the late wrestler booked front-row wrestling tickets for him and then took him out for dinner.

However, after getting done with dinner, Arnie wanted to pay, but the wrestler did not allow him to. When he kept insisting, The 8th Wonder of the World picked him like a rag doll and put him on top of a cabinet.

While the Terminator sat there, shocked, the wrestler went to the counter and paid the bill. Reacting to this, Arnold said, “It shows you his hands were just like three times the size of my hands, and he just grabbed me like nothing, and just while he was talking, he was lifting me. So this was a powerful guy.”

The late wrestler was known for such eccentric acts throughout his career. Some of his compatriots from the squared circle, Mike Graham and Ric Flair have often talked about how the Giant drank 156 beers in just one night.

But if you think drinking that much beer in a single night was a “WHAT” moment, wait till you hear the story of the time Andre flipped a car over.

Andre the Giant taught four bullies a lesson once

Former pro wrestler Bushwhacker Luke often reminisced about the time they were at a gas station and were subjected to homophobic slurs by four drunk French kids. However, the kids weren’t aware of Andre hearing those slurs. What happened afterward is now part of wrestling folklore.

The story goes that Andre walked over to their Volkswagen, yes, those very big ones from the 70s, picked it up, and just tipped it over to the sides. Now, if you have Nebraskan friends, then you have heard of them tipping cows, and you have had a hard time believing anyone could actually tip a cow. So you can imagine the surprise on Luke’s face when they realized Andre had tipped over a whole car to its side!

And while Arnold has broken his fair share of car windows shooting the first Terminator film on Hollywood Boulevard, even he can’t claim to have tipped over an entire car.
