Bodybuilder and fitness influencer Kali Muscle has drastically changed his lifestyle since his health fiasco in 2021. Swimming in the wave of popularity, Muscle had neglected his health for years, taking steroids and going to extremes with his training. Moreover, the fitness influencer’s questionable diet led to a clogged artery that landed him in the hospital. Earlier, the YouTuber made an honest confession about his trial and tribulations. Surprisingly, 7x Mr. Olympia had a role to play in it.
Taking to Facebook, the 48-year-old bodybuilding veteran revealed his life experiences and how challenges turned him into a different man. It was not until his heart attack that Muscle understood the consequences of training to extremes, a style shunned by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

These days, Kali Muscle is on the path to losing weight healthily. He does not want to carry a gigantic frame, as he knows the repercussions of going overboard. Detailing his ordeal, Muscle said, “I had to drop the weight and stop being concerned with moving weight and filling the muscles.” Further, the content creator advised using “moderate weights,” focusing more on longevity, as Arnold Schwarzenegger propounded. Thus, Muscle goes against the pedagogy of H.I.T. till failure and hails volume training as the way to go.

Moving on, Muscle talked about the mind-muscle connection while training. “I just hear Arnold say it. I didn’t understand until I understood,” added the bodybuilder. He further gives a gut-wrenching warning.
Muscle said, “It just take our awakening and stuff to happen, usually tragic in your life,” to reevaluate one’s life as it happened to him. The fitness enthusiast with 3.53 million subscribers on YouTube has reinvented himself as a mentor. However, it seems bodybuilding has taken a back seat for the millionaire.
Muscle questioned his own practices

In a YouTube video, Muscle shared his anxiety about strength sports. “I am scared of weights now,” said Kali, shockingly. “Somebody asked me what would I tell my 30-year-self. I didn’t know what bodybuilding even was till I was 34,” revealed the author. He also looked back at some of the antics he performed in the past, pushing his body to its limits, and questioned his own decisions. Moreover, Muscle also regrets his steroid usage.
It takes courage to accept shortcomings on a public platform, but Muscle remains determined. Despite constant criticism, he brings his knowledge and experiences to the world. One may argue that the methods used by the influencer, like the watermelon fast challenge or diet challenge, have their own set of challenges. However, the underlying message to take care of one’s health remains essential.
