Former bodybuilder, actor, and YouTuber, Kali Muscle, shared a few reasons why these athletes may have such thoughts.

Muscle, who faced a difficult time during college days and ended up in prison, turned his life around by getting into fitness after his release. However, just two years ago, he had a near-death experience and was hospitalized. Drawing from his own life experiences; he has shed light on the main reasons people attempt suicide.

The four reasons why athletes are suicidal

In his latest YouTube video, Kali discussed an utmost important topic, and he titled the video, “4 Reasons Why Bodybuilders are Suicidal.” After his heart attack, he changed his life completely, changed his preferences for food, and now adheres to a healthy lifestyle.

Moreover, the 48 YO fruitarian pointed out why athletes attempt suicide these days. In his list, the number one reason is food. “I was a kid I read in the magazine that Arnold Schwarzenegger said to eat over 5,000 calories a day, so that’s what I did from the age of 16 until my 30s”

So that’s the number one reason right there that many people are suicidal don’t even realize it we eaten all this bad food like me I had a heart attack right…Eating uh just the worst foods known to man a ton of rice a ton of bad meat right clogging up“Heavy weight lifting”, “poisonous supplements,” and harmful steroids.”

Kali Muscle warned about steroid use

Muscle pointed out, the side effects of heavy lifting, “Too much weight… all parts of the body we’re damaging we’re wearing down we’re tearing it down.” Heavy lifting will not help in longevity, because bodybuilding is not a lifestyle it is a career choice. The third reason he mentioned was supplements and following this, he added the fourth reason, which was the use of steroids.

He stressed on dangers of using steroids, the potential health risks, and the importance of making informed choices regarding one’s body and health. Since he’s been following a healthy lifestyle, he advocated the significance of a balanced diet that adds fruit, vegetables, and clean sources of meat instead of processed meat. He tried to spread awareness with his new updates and urged aspiring bodybuilders to choose a bodybuilding career wisely. While the sport may seem attractive, it carries health and potential muscle injuries.
