Furthermore, two iconic arm wrestlers, Devon Larratt and Denis Cyplenkov, have popularised the sport through their talent. Recently, the two titans engaged in a spar of words over an arm wrestling match. The Canadian arm wrestler Devon Larratt posted a video calling out the Ukranian arm wrestler. There was a lot of chicken and clown name-calling! Let us delve into the details.

Taking to YouTube, Larratt posted a video captioned “Denis Cyplenkov – clown v chicken pt 2.” Talking from his pillow, Larratt challenged Cyplenkov to a right-handed arm wrestling match. “Dennis, take a look at your big clown self. You belong in a circus, you big chicken. How long do we try and set that match up,” said Larratt. He further alluded that there is a lot of false information circulating on the internet about their match. However, Larratt claims that the reality is something else. In 2018, during Arm Fight 50, Larratt faced defeat against Denis Cyplenkov in a left-handed match, after which, Larratt had to send the left-handed legacy hammer to Cyplenkov.

Explaining the situation, he added, “I had surgery. I had elbow surgery……….,2017 I returned. It took me about three and a half years for my right arm to have any kind of level after surgery.” He further revealed that despite his left arm healing faster, he exudes more strength from his right hand.
He repeatedly called for a right-hand arm wrestle with the Ukranian and reiterates that he was not “ducking.” The post was a response to Cyplenkov calling Devon a “clown.” The arm wrestling pro has been working out very hard recently. His post showing his veiny arms attracted comments from veteran bodybuilding legend and fitness model Mike O’Hearn.

North America’s best arm wrestler trains hard to win
Last Month, Larratt presented a physique update that drew comments from powerlifter Larry Wheels and bodybuilder Mike O’Hearn. His arms looked extremely buffed, wide, and spectacular. The 48-year-old pro added “268lbs. My scars are melting. My cartilage thickens. I can move like when I was 24.” His post started a banter from the heavyweights, with Larry Wheels questioning Larratt, “How quickly can you open a jar of pickles?”
