Renee Landers embarked on her fitness journey when she was 58 years old. She never let anyone tell her that she could not, and with the right amount of passion and zeal for the sport, she now has an indomitable presence in the bodybuilding world.

Renee Landers took to her Instagram a few hours ago and with her sass, shared a video of herself where she is seen with sunglasses on, flexing her ripped physique at home. She used the post to share her journey with the world. She started by writing, “when I started all this competition stuff a couple years ago, at 69, I had zero idea I might make a difference to anyone….”
She goes on to say, “the fact that I might make a difference in even one person’s life is what keeps me going….. in 3 weeks i will be stepping on stage to compete in my 7th show.” She is now all set to set the stage of Masters Nationals on fire this year. With her unwavering passion for the sport, she has permanently etched her name in the bodybuilding realm.

Advising her fans and hoping to inspire them, she adds, “what you see is 11 years of consistent weight training, good nutrition, and plain old hard work. It does not happen overnight, but it is never too late to start!” She also goes on to talk about her diet and workout regime to reach her goal.
What makes Renee Landers so fit at 71?
After having a lower lumbar fusion at 58, the 71 YO grandma encountered a knack for lifting in the process of recovery at 60. She got into competitions at 69 and has not stopped ever since. She reveals her regime to stay fit. The grandma says, “My WORKOUTS vary, depending on whether or not I’m competing. My schedule and routine might be VERY different from yours. I lift 5 days a week, cardio every day – about 45 minutes of elliptical or other.”

In her diet, she shares that she avoids wheat and dairy and follows a low FODMAP approach. She includes eggs and ensures she consumes 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight each day.
