The ‘Coward’

Australian Lannan Neville Eacott, famous in his avatar as LazerBeam, is a well-known YouTuber. Starting in 2014 with demolition videos, The Premier State native soon moved to other genres. He gained widespread popularity with his whys and wherefores on landmark games such as Minecraft and Fortnite Battle Royal.

Well received, his channel boasts a subscription upwards of 24 million!

Along with fellow YouTuber Elliot Watkins, LazerBeam, held a twelve-hour-long live-streaming event to raise funds for the Australian bush-fire calamity. Not stopping there, the duo and other team members raised roughly A$300,000 through a thirty-six-hour stream for the bush-fire charity.

Rock

Never short of ammo in his arsenal, Lazer’s recent exploits whips out a short clip of him taking on none other than Floyd The Money Mayweather. Of course, he had to churn out wads of money to turn a dream into a reality

“All these YouTubers keep fighting Floyd Mayweather. I also wanna fight him. For $16,250 you can buy a video from Floyd But naturally I’m an idiot. So I bought it. But I can’t box. I’m a coward. So just so I can say I fought Floyd, I challenged him to rock-paper-scissors.”

Paper

Yes, and that’s all it took. LazerBeam kept his palm open against Mayweather’s punch. So is it 50-1 Floyd?

Scissors

It will not be the first time the well-known YouTuber is taking on someone online. Some two years ago, he took on American YouTuber Richard Tyler Blevins, aka Ninja, notably the most famous gamer in the world!

LazerBeam lost the contest two nil. In the first round, the rock he threw got buried inside an overcast paper from Ninja’s armory. The second round didn’t help either when the Lazer raised his paper, and all Ninja had to do was pull out the sharp scissor to chop it into pieces.

The Chinese deserve the credit for the game. It has become the go-to arbiter to settle disputes during or even when making a crucial but discordant decision.

Floyd, no surprise, was in his usually solicitous self. The loss didn’t vex him, and he closed it with a clear admission of the defeat, “There, you beat me.”

Now, since you know, would you like to take on Floyd Mayweather?
