Rickey Henderson and Mike Tyson both have been dominating forces in their respective sports. One has had 24 playing seasons in the MLB for nine different teams, and the other has had a career to remember in Professional Boxing that extends over 20 years. Stars, who rose in the 80s, shine their brightest to this day.

Recently, a picture on social media has gone viral. Mike Tyson and Rickey Henderson in one frame. Both men share a wide stretch of a smile, they are filled with the vigor of youth, and their eyes reflect the fire of their unstoppable dreams. If the ‘American Dream’ had a picture, one could say this photo was just it.

But the comment that seems to echo the content of the picture is one by Michael Mohn. “Hell of a lot ego in that photo,” he writes.

How did Rickey Henderson become the ‘Man of Steal’?

Wildly held as the greatest leadoff hitter and baserunner, who could forget the ten-time American League All-Star? In the year 1982, Henderson stole 130 bases to become the only player in American League to steal 100 bases in one season.
