After his successful launch in the WWE, there is a piece of news that claims Logan Paul is making his return to professional boxing. Although it is not yet official who The Maverick will face, there are speculations it might be the mixed martial artist Dillon Danis. Recently after the breakout of the news, UFC star Sean O’Malley offered his personal reaction. In O’Malley’s opinion, Danis is not really that big and hence Paul should avoid Danis after a giant exhibition with Floyd Mayweather in his last fight.

O’Malley said, “Did I hear? Logan Paul might be making a comeback. I read Dillon Danis somewhere. Logan Paul confirms December return to boxing. We’re getting back into the ring. The Maverick has not been in boxing since June 2021. His last fight was against Floyd. That would be cool. I saw Logan Paul vs. Danis a potential matchup.”

Here’s what O’Malley added next about Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul.

Why Sean O’Malley thinks Logan Paul Vs. Dillon Danis is not the ideal fight

Although retired and in his 40s, Paul’s last opponent was Floyd Mayweather. Now that Paul has shared the ring with ‘Money’ and has, therefore, crafted such a charming resume for a sight, O’Malley thinks Danis is not entirely the worthy opponent when numbers are in concern. He adds, “I don’t know if Dillon’s big enough. It’s hard for Logan to say, okay, where do we go from Floyd? You know what I mean? You’re an entertainer and you want numbers, and that’s what you’re selling? You don’t to fight Dillon Danis if you’re Logan Paul and you want to box and you want to win.”

But O’Malley also believes there is a  good chance Paul is chasing the fight all because he simply wants to taste a win. “I think he’s 0-1-1. Logan might just get in there and win. F**k the numbers, it’s going to sell regardless Logan Paul’s a pretty good name. Dillon Danis is a winnable fight, would probably be pretty close. I’ve never met Dillon in person; I don’t know how big he is, but Logan’s a big boy.”

As per O’Malley’s statement, in a contest with Danis, Paul has a better chance because he has a commendable size. Do you agree with Sean O’Malley statement? Do you also think Danis is not the ideal fight for Paul? Let us know in the comments below.
