The NBA legend, Michael Jordan, and boxing superstar, Floyd Mayweather, are two of the richest names in the world of sports. Their massive net worths have also helped them build an impressive real estate portfolio. However, it seems like ‘Money’ Mayweather has dwarfed Jordan’s real estate portfolio despite the massive USD 1 billion difference in net worth.
Jordan’s illustrious NBA career has undoubtedly made him the richest athlete in the sport. Moreover, this has also paved for an impressive net worth of USD 2.2 billion. The most expensive thing Jordan owns is in line with the game he loves. He owns a franchise for the Charlotte Hornets worth a whopping USD 175 million.

And there is no denying that this massive net worth has also helped him invest in a few valuable real estate assets as well. He owns the 32,683-square-foot, Legend Point Mansion in Highland Park. The property is currently worth USD 14.85 million. Another property that Jordan owns is the Bears Club House in Florida, which is worth USD 20 million.
The NBA legend also owns homes in North Carolina and Miami worth USD 3 million and USD 300,000 respectively. Jordan is also a golf aficionado who owns The Grove XXIII golf course worth USD 15 million.
On the other hand, Mayweather is worth USD 1.2 billion, which is USD 1 billion lesser than Jordan’s net worth.

Jordan’s real estate investments are worth approximately USD 53.15 million combined. Conversely, Mayweather opened up about his investments during his post-fight interview in 2017. He said, “I’m well off. Every property that I have is paid for. My jet is paid for. All my cars are paid for. I own billion-dollar buildings. I own so much property.”
Mayweather is the major investor for SL Green Realty Corps. This in turn made him the part owner of nine skyscrapers, including New York’s very own tower of Babylon, ‘One Vanderbilt’. Notably, One Vanderbilt is worth over USD 3 billion. He also owns multiple luxurious mansions.
