The Rocky series and its spinoff, the Creed series have been regarded as one of the best boxing movie franchises in the history of cinema. Moreover, the latest addition to the series, Creed III, was no different and had a phenomenal opening, receiving acclaim from both the sports fraternity and cinema aficionados. The movie also boasted notable names like Canelo Alvarez and Jose Benavidez Jr. making an appearance. Actor Jonathan Majors who played the antagonist also received a lot of appreciation from fans for the role. Meanwhile, it looks like he has another role in mind. And it happens to be the role of NBA legend Dennis Rodman.

Creed III has crossed USD 100 million in revenue globally, and Majors is undoubtedly on cloud nine. In an interview with AP Entertainment, he expressed a desire in playing Rodman in a biopic. He said, “This is definitely a role where I’m definitely going to make sure I’m pushing that ceiling out. Because he demands that. He’s such a full individual. So, he’s going to demand a lot. I’ve got to figure out how to get that.”

Rodman is known for his eccentric and unhinged personality. Additionally, Major also mentioned that he wishes to sit down for a conversation with Rodman and discuss the potential of the role.

Fans were unsure about Jonathan Majors playing Dennis Rodman

The news was reposted across multiple social media platforms. And a lot of fans were confused about the prospect of Majors playing Rodman. In fact, many of them took to the comments to share their thoughts.

Jnr Graham wasted no time in saying, “Don’t do it.” Meanwhile, a few fans addressed the height difference. Charlotte Edwards mentioned, “He is not tall enough. And don’t look like him.”

And, J.J. Daze added, “The ninja is 6ft, the same height as me. How is he gonna portray Rodman at 6’7″? On stilts?”

On the other hand, Doris Day felt, “Playing the ‘Worm’ will be a challenge. Dennis is a complicated individual and an alcoholic.” However, a few fans extended support to Majors. Dee-Dee Grayson said, “I am sure he will be brilliant!!”

Similarly, Jozset Johnson mentioned, “Do it good, Jonathan!”
