Gervonta Davis, a pro boxer from the US, has won multiple world championships in three weight divisions. Lately, he’s been in the news for his potential fight against rising star Ryan Garcia. Unfortunately, their fight is taking time to get signed by both parties due to a disagreement over the “rematch clause.” Despite this setback, fans are eagerly awaiting their match.
Recently in an interview with ESNEWS, Gervonta Davis shared his respect for Shaquille O’Neal who is considered one of the greatest basketball players. He also shared his thoughts about various other things, such as the disagreement over the rematch clause. In the video, Gervonta was surprised to find how capable a businessman Shaq is after the interviewer tells him all the things he owns.

Gervonta Davis calls Shaq, the most humble guy he met
In the video, Gervonta was first seen sitting next to a ring and the interviewer asks him a question regarding his fight with Ryan Garcia. The interviewer asks Davis about the delay caused by the rematch clause. To which Davis replies, “I don’t know what is going on with the rematch clause. I don’t know about that.” The fight between these two boxers has been in limbo for a while now because of this clause. Recently Ryan Garcia’s promoter, Oscar de la Hoya shared the problems caused by the clause with the fans.

After that, the Interviewer asks, “You know who said nice things about you Yesterday? I saw an interview with Shaquille O’ Neal…”. To this, Gervonta replies, “Yeah, that’s my boy.” The interviewer further shares that Shaq O’Neal, recently did an interview with Inside Fighting in which he was asked about his pick between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis. Shaq chose ‘Tank’ Davis over ‘KingRy’, to which he replied, “Yeah, I know. He is the humblest guy I have ever met, fr. He is humble for real.”

Gervonta Davis pleads guilty of hit-and-run
Gervonta Davis, also known as ‘Tank,’ has admitted to several charges related to a hit-and-run incident that happened three years ago. Following his win against Hector Luis Garcia in January, which led him one step closer to his clash with Ryan Garcia, Davis has been out of the public eye.

The highly anticipated fight between Davis and Garcia is tentatively scheduled for April 15th in Las Vegas. But in the background, Davis has been dealing with his trial for the hit-and-run incident, which could have resulted in over seven years of imprisonment. Fortunately, as per sources, Davis has agreed to a plea deal related to the incident, so the fight with Garcia will no longer be in jeopardy. However, his sentencing hearing will take place on May 5th, after his fight with Garcia.
