Four years ago, in their second in-ring stint, KSI was the aggressor toward Logan Paul. Today, in a fun video that outlines the fun bond that flourishes between them, he seems to continue that trend. Was it really his “bad” that he hurled a basketball at Paul’s face or was it another example of their jolly camaraderie?

In their 2019 rematch, KSI left no crumbs as he defeated the younger Paul brother via a split decision. That night was brutal for their already rocky relationship. However, in 2022, three years later, things took a sudden turn when the two, once-scorned rivals, came together for a business venture. Prime Hydration cemented their difference and ushered in fondness for each other. Today, as both of them push their brainchild of a brand to extreme success, they premise their marketing strategy upon this new-found love for each other.

In an X video, both business partners were seen dressed in jerseys of the basketball team, Toronto Raptors. While they seemed busy testing their basketball skills, ‘JJ’ hurled the ball toward Paul, who was standing parallel to him on the same side. The ball hit the 29-year-old WWE star’s eye. In pain, he crumpled to the wall, trying to recover. Astonished, the Londoner ran toward Paul to check on him. Still laughing, he embraced Logan Paul. As he posted the video on his timeline, JJ wrote, “My bad [laughing emojis].”

Earlier, the Raptors announced that it has roped in Prime Hydration for an official partnership. While it is sparsely possible that the deal has anything to do with the player personnel, it looks like the organization is leveraging the humongous following the duo has on social media.

It also looks like the partnership has been in the making for a while now. In October last year, the duo hosted a well-attended Prime event in Yonge-Dundas Square, home to the Toronto Raptors. They were also spotted at their game against the Philadelphia 76ers on the trip.

This is not the first deal for the brand with sporting teams and personalities. Earlier in March, The Lakers too signed Paul and KSI’s Prime as the team’s official sports drink. Apart from that, they have also signed deals with UFC, WWE, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and athletes such as Patrick Mahomes, Erling Haaland, and Israel Adesanya.

The video, which has now gone viral on the internet, is proving to be an excellent organic means of promotion for the duo’s partnership with the Raptors. What do you think about KSI and Logan Paul’s relationship as business partners? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
