A month back, ESNEWS interviewed Floyd Mayweather’s former rival and IBF and WBO junior welterweight title-holder Zab Judah. At the very beginning of the interview, the reporter yelled a question of a peculiar kind to Judah. He asked who was more popular between Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson. At this, acknowledging the “greatness” of both Tyson and Jordan, Judah nominated two other candidates, Beyonce and Jay Z.

When the reporter refused to welcome Jay Z’s candidacy, Judah said, “Stop it, you sound crazy. And Jay Z is an entertainer, a musician, he travels the world. What about his wife? His wife is the most famous woman in the world.”

Every woman is aware of Beyonce, but not of Michael Jordan or Mike Tyson

Despite their achievements, Zab Judah believes Beyonce can still exceed the fame enjoyed by Mike Tyson and Michael Jordan. Although the reporter was unyielding, Judah insisted Beyonce was bigger than both ‘Iron’ and ‘His Airness.’ He said, “You gon’ tell me Mike Tyson and Michael Jordan are bigger than Beyonce? I love both of them, but they ain’t bigger than no Beyonce.”

“There are women who don’t know who Michael Jordan is or who Mike Tyson is. Every woman on this planet knows who Beyonce is, my brother. Mike Tyson is more famous than Michael Jordan,” Judah added.

By his statement, it looks like Judah believes Art can exceed athletics and sport. Maybe it is because, as opposed to sports, the heart receives and responds to art with more feelings and care.
