In a matter of only three days, Floyd Mayweather would square off against YouTuber Deji. Recently, Jake Paul, after his win over Anderson Silva on October 29, expressed his desire to fight ‘TBE’. In a recent press conference, Mayweather responded to Jake Paul taking his name for a potential future fight. Tommy Fury was also present at the conference when Mayweather offered his opinion about ‘The Problem Child’.

According to Mayweather, a lot of times, people wished for certain things they actually did not need in life. Mayweather said, “I think he was doing a talk-show or a podcast one time when they asked him about fighting me. See, a lot of times, when you say certain things you don’t really want what you say you want, okay? Jake Paul got problems right here.”

Mayweather felt that Paul was doing good for what he was doing. However, as soon as Paul stepped in the ring with a “real fighter” it was all over for him. “I mean he’s doing good for what he’s doing. Like I said for what he’s doing. It is what it is. There’s so many other fighters. Once he get in there with a real fighter, it’s going to be over,” Mayweather added by saying.

Having won his fight against Anderson Silva, 47, via UD, Paul said a fight with Mayweather would be a “massive draw” in boxing. However, what does Mayweather think about Jake Paul challenging him for a fight? According to Mayweather, it is obvious for a person who only prefers fighting athletes who are in their 40s or 50s and so past their prime.

“So, he got to be able to enjoy while he can. Is he doing good? Absolutely. For who he’s fighting – guys 5o, guys 40. Of course, he would want to fight me. Of course, I’m 50 years old,” Mayweather concluded by saying.
