“A Happy Fighter Makes a Dangerous Fighter”: Anthony Joshua Is Ready for “More” for His Rematch Against Dillian Whyte

Anthony Joshua is ready to go to war on the night of August 12th. The former two-time unified heavyweight champion will face Dillian Whyte in his second fight this year. And he is ready to wreak havoc on his opponent once he steps inside the boxing ring. Even though the finalization of the fight took its time, Joshua is training to ensure that he is at the top of his game.

Currently, Anthony Joshua is in training camp for his upcoming fight. And, while he trains, he is documenting the process so that he can reflect on such demanding times. In a recent video, Joshua opened up about the mindset he has going into this fight. And how he has been training for this rematch.

The heavyweight shared a video titled “I Breathe Life Into This Division.” And this video captured the essence of the hard work and dedication Joshua has been putting into training for this fight.

Talking about his mindset before the fight, Joshua said, “There’s a saying that a happy fighter makes a dangerous fighter.” He went on to explain the message and added, “In the sense that you put them in the right environment and their brain is receptive to what they’re being taught.”

Joshua seems pumped up for the fight and is willing to put in that extra effort in training. He said, “They’ll be more in tune with what they’re going through, so I’m like, give me more, give me more.”

The video also showed montages of Joshua training to ensure he doesn’t leave any loose ends while preparing for Whyte.

It is not a secret that Joshua is eyeing a bout with Deontay Wilder in December. And his decision to clash against Whyte before the mega-fight can backfire on the former champ. According to Eddie Hearn, if AJ loses this fight, he will miss out on fighting Wilder. But, AJ being AJ,  likes the thrill and would want to test himself.
