Some shots in boxing are considered harder to hit, but the lethality of these punches produces spectacular knockouts. Unlike jabs, this punch causes serious damage to the opponent if landed with accuracy. Recently in Top Rank’s promoted event, a boxer caught his opponent’s chin with a perfect uppercut which seized the latter in the ring.

The clip of that elite class punch circulated on Twitter with a statement that reads, “One of the most brutal uppercut knockouts in boxing history.”

Admiration deserving punch caught the fan’s attention.

Currently, the undisputed light-middleweight champion landed a very nice uppercut in the first round of the title defense fight against Erickson Lubin in 2017. Lubin was a tough challenge for Charlo pre-fight. but the latter’s uppercut made it easy.

Don’t even know if you can call it an uppercut. It was a strange punch and angle to throw it from, but it took Lubin’s soul.

Several fans were amazed by how it was executed, as it was quite swift.

Many social media users agreed that no one saw the punch coming.

The 36-year-old has the highest knockout ratio which is 98%. He surpassed notable names like Mike Tyson aka ‘The Baddest Man on Planet’ and George Foreman.
