Amidst a few brickbats, a huge outpouring of compliments and felicitations plastered Jake Paul‘s social media accounts. Be it Instagram or X/Twitter, fans, followers, and even a few celebrities queued up to congratulate ‘The Problem Child’ as he shared news of a tie-up with USA Boxing.
Yesterday evening, Jake Paul shared that he will join forces with the governing body as they prepare for the Paris Olympics, scheduled from July 26 to August 11, next year. He will join elite boxers who have qualified and other fighters at their training base in Colorado Springs next year. Paul is expected to bring in his expertise and rope in his massive following to enhance the brand value of the Olympic boxing team.

Jake Paul has arrived!
Undoubtedly, a few questioned the move. However, to most, it was a positive step that could garner more optics for what is usually a low-pitched campaign.
Saying that he wanted to join Jake Paul in the new journey, Ryan Garcia was among the first to comment: “Nice! I want to tag along, haha.” His promoter and former world champion Oscar De La Hoya also joined in congratulating ‘The Problem Child’ and said, “Awesome. Good job.”

On X/Twitter, the following user emphasized Jake Paul winning a medal. It would finally give the stamp of approval to all that Jake Paul has achieved thus far in boxing.

Former IBF bantamweight champion Ebanie Bridges also shouted out Paul on X/Twitter. She mentioned that he deserves respect for all that he is doing for the larger community.

One of the users on Instagram lauded Jake Paul. They said that many youngsters taking to boxing claim they did so because of him. ‘The Problem Child’ has become an inspiration for many; the user emphasized that “More kids want to box because of Paul than most elite fighters. Jake Paul inspires boxers more than “real” boxers.”

‘The Problem Child’ and USA Boxing: Moving in the Right Direction
Despite being the most successful boxing team in the history of the Olympics, the fact remains that the United States hasn’t won a gold medal in boxing since 2004. With Jake Paul by their side, many talented boxers might find it an attractive option to fight as amateur boxers for a longer duration. The Olympics no longer bar professional boxers from participation. But still, a few fighters opt for the route disenchanted by the multiple qualification rounds and long waiting period between the two Olympics.
