X003: Austin, Texas

YouTuber KSI’s venture into the boxing world as a fighter and a businessman has been going great guns. Free after the two back-to-back bouts in August, he will take on MMA fighter Dillon Danis on January 23rd. Either way, he started his own boxing promotions company called Misfits Boxing.

The third installment from Misfits happened on November 19th in Austin, Texas. The co-main event had former NFL defensive end and UFC fighter Greg Hardy taking on Hasim Rahman Jr.

Initially, Rahman Jr. was going to fight the former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort; however, the latter pulled out because of Covid-19. As his replacement, names of former Heavyweight Shannon Griggs and Greg Hardy cropped up.

Greg Hardy fight was given the green signal

The four-rounder ended in Greg’s victory, with all the judges deciding in his favor unanimously. It will be the second win in a year for the southpaw. On October 8th, he knocked out Mike Cook in the second round.

For the 6 feet and five inches-tall Florida native, roads are now open to challenge and wait. Greg responded, “I want all of them. I’am gonna eat all of them alive. All the big boys I’am going to devour, every single of them, I’m gonna take them, gonna break them, I’m gonna go four six eight ten make it, get it let’s go, Fury, you ain’t s**t.”

Time will tell whether Logan accepts the challenge. Keen to make a comeback to boxing after an exciting vacation in WWE, Logan will have to check out possible lineups against him next year.

Also, since Misfits’ boss KSI happens to be his business partner in Prime Hydration, it should be a smooth cookie to break. The only impediment, if any deal eventuates, could be the weight. At 266 lbs., Greg bulks over 199.4 lbs. Paul.

Invitation to others in the fraternity, such as Tommy Fury, follows The Maverick.

Despite it being the second fight of his professional career, Greg Hardy has managed to send shock waves across the boxing world. After all, a win over much experienced Hasim Rahman Jr. is no mean feat by any stretch of thought.
