Floyd Mayweather‘s UK debut as he fought Aaron Chalmers on February 25th was surprisingly unsuccessful as thousands of tickets remained unsold while many did not turn up for the match. It is reported that organizers even tried to sell tickets for only $6 just to fill the empty seats. Irrespective of all the attempts, Mayweather’s sixth exhibition fight failed to deliver the success Mayweather desired. Days after his fight with Aaron Chalmers, Mayweather took to Instagram and shared photos in which he did “backyard exhibitions”.

In a throwback, Mayweather posted pictures with his friends Joe and Chip Van Faasen from his childhood. In the pictures, a little Mayweather is seen wearing gloves and fooling around with his friends. Taking to Instagram, Mayweather captioned the post, “#TBT As you all can see, I’ve been getting fly my whole life and the manifestation is real.  I’ve been doing backyard exhibitions, but on a small level, with the Van Faasen brothers Joe & Chip.”
