At the Coca-Cola Arena, Floyd Mayweather claimed yet another win at exhibition boxing. ‘Money’ Mayweather, 45, who retired from professional boxing five years ago in 2017, literally toyed with the 25-year-old YouTuber Deji. Mayweather, who is known for being technical and defensive, fought with his hands low, dancing around Deji. ‘Money,’ confident and calm, snatched his win with ease via TKO in round six.

Mayweather, throughout the fight, talked to Deji. Every time the two came into proximity, Mayweather had something to hurl at the YouTuber Deji Olatunji. After the fight, in an interview, the YouTuber finally revealed what Mayweather was saying to him. Mayweather, who has competed and won against some of the best boxers of his time, tackled Deji as if it was just another day at the office.

Deji said, “He [Floyd Mayweather] was talking a lot. He was just saying I’m ‘Money’ Mayweather, and I do what I do.” After the Mayweather fight, Deji’s record comprises 4 losses and only 1 win. Although Deji was 25 and Mayweather in his mid-’40s, the outcome of the fight did not surprise fans of boxing.

Even before the Deji fight, Mayweather announced his plans to return to the UK and fight in 2023. The question is, who will he fight? Mayweather does not intend to fight Ricky Hatton in a rematch as he makes his return to the UK for an exhibition fight. On the other hand, Jake Paul recently desired to fight ‘TBE’.
