The stage is almost set for one of the biggest boxing events of 2021 between Manny Pacquiao and Yordenis Ugas. The duo will enter a 12-round slugfest with each other for Ugas’ WBA welterweight title strap. This fight has become the talk of the town for obvious reasons and the fans cannot contain their excitement to see these two battle it out. As both Pacquiao and Ugas successfully made weight, their fight is official.
Post the weigh-ins, the champ, Ugas, gave a fiery statement to Pacquiao and allured his supporters to a great extent.
“No, definitely in the ring with a legend like Manny Pacquiao. I have a lot of respect for him. So I’m very excited. But all respect is finished after we get in the ring tomorrow,” he said (via a translator).

’54 Milagros’ has been in the welterweight roster for long, yet he’s never got the required attention. However, a fight with ‘Pacman’ will put him in the center stage.
Ugas definitely has mammoth respect for the Senator, but he knows what he has to do once he takes up the ring space tomorrow night.
This fight will also mark Pacquiao‘s comeback to the ring after a long break of two years. Earlier he was set to contend with Errol Spence Jr., but the latter injured himself a few days back. Hence, Yordenis Ugas will face the 42-year-old on short notice.

Ugas, in his short yet attractive career, has tested himself against some sturdy contenders. However, he hasn’t faced someone on the level of the experienced Manny Pacquiao.
Also, as the Filipino Senator hasn’t fought for two years, it’s hard to predict who among the two will come out on top with a win. Both the fighters have their own set of skills and once they touch gloves with each other, it will be open season within the ropes.
