Amir Khan might fight again. More than a year ago Khan fought Kell Brook, a bout which he lost via a sixth-round TKO. The United Kingdom Anti-Doping Body conducted a test immediately after the fight and determined that Khan had traces of Ostarine, an anabolic agent in his body. It was soon announced to the boxing realm that the fighter had tested positive for a banned PED.
The fighter was also slapped with a two-year ban. However, the ban proved to be redundant given he decided to hang his gloves immediately after the Brook fight. A question still lingers amongst boxing enthusiasts. Did he retire owing to his loss or did he retire given his drug tests? However, more than a year from retirement, he has hinted about stepping back into the ring, but only to teach another boxer a lesson.

Calling out the influencer-turned-boxer for apparently acting way beyond his caliber. Khan said, “Jake Paul, he gets on my nerves a little bit. I think the way he conducts himself the way he acts and he’s just full of himself as well and he thinks he can fight. He’s only been boxing for like a year, so yeah, I’d love to fight him. He’s been very lucky though. Talking about it further, he said, “He’s a little bit heavier than me but I don’t mind putting the pounds on just to beat him up.”
Jake Paul, however, has had an impressive run in the boxing realm registering just one loss against Tommy Fury earlier this year. On the other hand, things haven’t been easy for Amir Khan.
Amir Khan Says Sharing a Drink Might be a Reason for Positive Drug Results

Further, in the same interview, the fighter also gave a possible explanation for his embarrassing loss against Brook. Talking about how he was caught off-guard from the fight, he said, “If I knew I was on something I’d have psyched myself up. ‘I’m on this, and I’m gonna be stronger.”
It remains to be seen if Jake Paul accepts this call from Amir Khan. However, this matchup might see the light of day only if his ban orders are revoked. Will the authorities buy into his explanation of having the drug content in his blood? Watch this space as more details emerge about his ban.
