“And People Make Excuses Saying He Small”: Fans Stunned After Jermell Charlo Flaunts His Incredible Physique Ahead of Canelo Alvarez Fight

Jermell Charlo will be entering the ring to fight the undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez on September 30. Charlo will jump up two weight divisions for the bout. He owns all four world titles in the light middleweight weight division and will be gaining weight to face Alvarez in the super middleweight division.

The match comes as a surprise to the boxing world as most were certain that it would be Jermell Charlo’s twin brother, Jermall Charlo, who would fight Canelo Alvarez However, Jermall remains unavailable owing to personal reasons.

Canelo’s last fight was against John Ryder in May this year. Cinnamon secured a unanimous decision victory,  defending all his belts in the super-middleweight division. Meanwhile, Charlo’s last fight was last year. After drawing with Brian Carlos Castano in 2021, he became the first-ever undisputed light middleweight champion by defeating the same boxer last year – winning via tenth-round stoppage. Jermell took away  Castano’s WBO title adding to his  WBC, WBA, and IBF belts.

As Jermell gears up to fight Alvarez at this clash of the undisputed, fans remain intrigued to see who will emerge victorious.

Jermell Charlo impresses fans with his new bulked-up physique

Jermell Charlo posted an Instagram picture in which he is visibly all bulked up and seems to be ready for his bout against Alvarez. He captioned the image, “With Great Risk Comes Great Reward. ”

The post has received ample reactions from fans who cannot seem to contain their excitement for the big fight. I mean, how can they? It is a fight where two undisputed champions will face off against each other.

charleschavezjr commented, “This should not be a risky fight for you at all. You MUST do three things this fight and you win easy. Use ur jab the entire fight. Canelo struggles when he faces a good jab. 2. Set the pace. Don’t let Canelo rest. He fights in burst then catches his breath. Don’t let him. 3. Don’t forget abt your jab. Of you do these things you win easy.”

As  the above-mentioned fan gave Charlo some tips to win the bout, matteo_fortunato1 commended his bulked-up physique. They said, “And people make excuses saying he small 😂 hahah look at him ‼️”

ezequiel501 commented, “Canelo is washed we all see it with ryder its your opportunity.” The fan here is referring to the fight Alvarez had earlier with John Ryder in May. The undisputed super middleweight champion easily defeated the tough John Ryder via a unanimous decision.

bossupteezy  speculated about the purse amount for the fight, “It’s a serious bag here!!! Win lose or draw!”

Canelo Alvarez definitely has the upper hand in this matchup and is the clear favorite for the bookies. He is more experienced than Charlo, and moreover, this weight division is his bastion. It will be worth watching if Jermell Charlo rises up to the occasion and takes the titles away from the Mexican boxer as he ventures into a new weight class. September 30th is the day, mark your calendars!
