Tate and his brother were due to be released in no more than 30 days after being taken into custody, and many believed he has finally started to show cracks in his armor. However, a judge ruled that another 30 days be added to their detention while the police gather evidence. This was the second time their detention was extended, previously being extended from 24 days to 30 days, and could also be further extended if necessary.
It seems that Tate might just be in prison for some time until the police and prosecutors build a strong case against him. This also depends on whether a case can be built against him or else he will have to be released in accordance with the law. However, for now, the kickboxer has to make do with lashing out on social media confined within four walls.
