Controversial Anglo-American influencer Andrew Tate started his year in police detention after his house was raided by Romanian officials. The former kickboxer gained widespread fame in a matter of months, with his views on women and gender roles making him the most polarizing figure in the influencer community. Moreover, at one point he was even the most searched man in the world.

Despite this, his fame has come back to bite him, as he has spent nearly a month in jail. In addition, he also recently took to Twitter to complain about Romanian laws for keeping him in custody despite the lack of evidence. Tate’s arrest has also somewhat derailed public opinion about him with many now questioning his innocence. However, Tate has fired back at those people in a fiery-worded message for them

Andrew Tate calls out the people who turned on him after his arrest

‘Top G’ took to Twitter and stated that he was tracking public opinion about him while in prison. This included all the people who stood up for him and the people who didn’t come out in his support claiming that he was innocent and calling them “cowards”.

“During my incarceration. I’ve been tracking everyone who stood up in support. Everyone who stood on the fence. And those too scared to stick up for me despite my innocence. God knows they’re cowards and I know they’re cowards,” he wrote.

Tate was arrested on charges of human trafficking. This combined with his already controversial image has caused many to turn against him. However, he is still awaiting trial and has not had a chance to plead guilty, which many doubt he will.

Tate and his brother were due to be released in no more than 30 days after being taken into custody, and many believed he has finally started to show cracks in his armor. However, a judge ruled that another 30 days be added to their detention while the police gather evidence. This was the second time their detention was extended, previously being extended from 24 days to 30 days, and could also be further extended if necessary.
